Chelsea manager Frank Lampard won his first game in the Champions League during midweek as the Blues beat Lille FC of France 2-1 away from home for what was their third win in a row.
The win took them to second spot in Group H behind leaders Ajax Amsterdam.
Lampard and his Chelsea players can follow that win over Lille with another one over Southampton in their week eight league clash.

Southampton are presently struggling in the lower parts of the Premier League table ahead of their league meeting with Chelsea.
A win for Chelsea will see them end the weekend in the top four of the Premier League table if other results go their way.
Tammy Abraham is the man to watch for Chelsea after netting seven goals in as many league games.
