Concrete details reveals Christian Eriksen could leave for Manchester United in january

North London outfit Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a swoop for AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini as they plot to replace star player Christian Eriksen who’s expected to leave the club next year.

This is according to Italian media outlet CalcioMercato which claimed that Spurs see Lorenzo Pellegrini as the long-term replacement for Christian Eriksen if they can convince AS Roma to part with the Italian international.

Danish international playmaker Christian Eriksen will most likely leave Tottenham Hotspur in the New Year with less than one year remaining on his current deal with the North Londoners and there is little hope that the former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder will extend his contract beyond next summer when it expires.

He has the opportunity to speak with foreign clubs about a potential free transfer move as from the 1st of January with six months left on his Tottenham Hotspur contract.

Christian Eriksen has a lot of suitors dating back to the summer when he came close to leaving Spurs.

Major European clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid were all linked him with him before the summer transfer window ended.

Manchester United have been linked with a £44m January swoop for him in recent days.
