North London outfit Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a swoop for AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini as they plot to replace star player Christian Eriksen who’s expected to leave the club next year.
This is according to Italian media outlet CalcioMercato which claimed that Spurs see Lorenzo Pellegrini as the long-term replacement for Christian Eriksen if they can convince AS Roma to part with the Italian international.
Danish international playmaker Christian Eriksen will most likely leave Tottenham Hotspur in the New Year with less than one year remaining on his current deal with the North Londoners and there is little hope that the former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder will extend his contract beyond next summer when it expires.
