Manchester United manager will be happy to hear that Inter Milan executives have cooled their interest in Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic.
It was revealed during the week that Manchester United could be on the verge of losing the former Chelsea midfielder due to Conte’s massive desire to reunite with the player in January.
It was even claimed by Daily Mirror on Friday that Matic is considering leaving Old Trafford in January as part of his search for regular game-time.
The British media further claimed that the Serie A giants are set to explore their chances of poaching him to the San Siro Stadium in January.

However, there is a great relief for Solskjaer regarding the player’s future as Daily Star recently revealed that Inter are no longer chasing after Matic’s signature.
According to Daily Star, Inter owner Steven Zhang met with Antonio Conte and other highly respected executives — including Giuseppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio — to discuss their budget for the upcoming winter transfer market, and they unanimously decided to pull out of the race for the 31-year-old star.
As much as this will come as good news to many Manchester United fans, the player won’t be too happy with the latest development due to his zeal for regular action in order to boost his chances of making Serbia’s Euro 2020 squad.
