Manchester United center-back Victor Lindelof is enjoying a tremendous career at Old Trafford under Solskjaer as he has started most of the Premier League matches this season.
Though United have conceded 12 goals this season, the Sweden international has formed a great understanding with summer signing Harry Maguire at the heart of the defense.
His performances for United and his country were enough to earn him Sweden’s men player of the year award last week.
Speaking to reporters after receiving the individual prize, the defender singled out former United manager José Mourinho for praise.
According to Lindelof, Mourinho had a great influence on his career at Old the Theatre of Dreams and he is grateful to have worked with the Portuguese tactician.

He further confessed how much he cherished playing for the former Real Madrid manager, who has been without a club since he was sacked by United 11 months ago.
Lindelof misses Mourinho and he wishes to see the manager return to the dugout soon.
Meanwhile, Mourinho’s wait for a new club could be over soon as he is linked with Bayern Munich’s coaching job.
The Allianz Arena outfit is without a permanent manager and reports in Germany link the Portuguese and Massimiliano Allegri to the vacant position.
