Manchester United have been dealt a big blow in their pursuit of Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn.
According to the publication from the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa are not ready to entertain any offer from Manchester United or any other club for their star midfielder.
John McGinn has been attracting the interest of the Red Devils as a result of his impressive performances for Midlands club Aston Villa in the last one year.
The Scotland international was a key player for Aston Villa as they gained Premier League promotion via the English Championship playoffs.

Aston Villa saw off Derby County in the playoff final to seal a return to the top flight after a two-year absence.
John McGinn has been able to maintain that form in the Premier League where he has scored three league goals.
The Aston Villa midfielder was linked with a £50m move to Manchester United in the summer but he chose to stay with his Midlands club.
Manchester United have been tipped to go back in to sign him when the transfer market reopens in January but Aston Villa are expected to repel any move from the Red Devils for the highly rated Scotland national team midfielder.
