Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have been handed a big boost on the injury front ahead of their Champions League clash at home to Slavia Prague.

Barcelona have a boost as regards the injury to star striker Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan international suffered a calf injury during the league game at the weekend.

His injury was a further blow to Barcelona who were beaten 3-1 by Levante despite taking the lead in the game courtesy a Lionel Messi penalty.

Barcelona had won their last five league games before the Levante game.

After the game, it was revealed that Luis Suarez will be out for three weeks.

That injury prognosis on the former Liverpool striker has improved in recent days as pointed out by Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde during his pre-match press conference on Tuesday ahead of the Champions League clash at home to Czech Republic side Slavia Prague.

According to Valverde, Luis Suarez won’t take three weeks to return to action as he said that the striker could return at the weekend.

Luis Suarez is expected to return to action during the league game against Celta Vigo.

He will miss the Slavia Prague game as Barcelona try to bounce back from the Levante defeat.
