Two-time Champions League finalists Atletico Madrid have joined the race to sign highly-rated England international left-back Ben Chilwell who plays his club football for Premier League club Leicester City at the moment.
This is according to the widespread media reports coming out of Spain.
Ben Chilwell has grown to become one of the best left-backs on the Premier League scene since he broke into the first team at Leicester City.
The specific publication from trusted Spanish newspaper AS claimed that Atletico Madrid are planning a move for him as a direct replacement for the outgoing Filipe Luis.

Ageing Brazilian left-back Filipe Luis is the first choice left-back at Atletico Madrid and he’s expected to leave the club this summer upon the expiration of his contract at the club this summer.
Atletico Madrid will lose several players this summer as a massive exodus is expected.
Filipe Luis, Juanfran and skipper Diego Godin will leave the club in the coming days after their respective contracts ended this summer, while forwards Antoine Griezmann and Diego Costa are also poised to leave the club this summer.
Apart from Atletico Madrid, Premier League sides like Manchester City and Arsenal are also keen on the aforementioned Chilwell.
Leicester City have slapped a whopping sum of €60m on the player according to the aforementioned publication from the stables of AS newspaper.
