EPL: Man Utd Plot To Sign ‘Best Young’ Midfielder During January Window

Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly plotting to sign one of the best young English midfielders in the league during the January transfer window.

The winter transfer market in January opens in two months time and the Red Devils have already been making plans to reinforce their squad.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United want to sign England international Declan Rice who’s one of the best young players in English football.

Earlier reports had claimed that Manchester United might need to pay as much as £80m to sign the West Ham United star.

Manchester United have been light in midfield this season mainly due to the injury woes of star player Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman has been plagued by an ankle injury which has seen him miss nine of the last 11 games played by Manchester United this season.

Paul Pogba has been restricted to just six appearances all season due to the troublesome injury.

The French World Cup winner Pogba last featured for Manchester United during the league game at home to top four rivals Arsenal on September 30.

He suffered an injury setback earlier this month and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he would be out for one more month.
