Manchester United fans were happy to see one of the loanees, Chris Smalling, turning ground in Serie A. The England defender has been in an awe-inspiring form for Roma this season and he capped a brilliant display with a goal during the club’s 4-0 victory over Udinese during this week.
The Red Devils’ fans took to Twitter to call on the Red Devils hierarchy not to let go of the center-back in the summer transfer window as they believe his presence will add more quality to Solskjaer’s team at the back of the pitch in the 2020-21 season.
One for the fans via his Twitter account said: “Good to hear your enjoying life out in Italy hopefully see you back at @ManUtd next season”

Roma are reportedly keen on having him permanently but Solskjaer has ruled out the chance of letting him go on a permanent deal.
