PSG star Kylian Mbappe is being tracked by some top European clubs after the player told reporters that he’s ready for a new challenge.

However, he has been advised to choose Manchester United despite interest from Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool.

Former Fulham striker Brian McBride has urged the young Frenchman to consider moving to Old Trafford in the summer because he will be given the chance to enjoy his free attacking football and the opportunity to bring the club back to prominence.

Speaking to ESPN, McBride admitted that Jurgen Klopp’s playing style could affect the player’s productivity because the former Borussia Dortmund manager wants his attackers to help out at the back of the pitch when they are in chase of possession.

“Liverpool is a great club, but do you really want Mbappe pressing all over the field? Do you want him defending as much as everyone in that front line as Liverpool does? I don’t think you do,” he said.

He also revealed why Barcelona is never an option for the World Cup winner as he said the Blaugranas will always choose to pass the ball to Lionel Messi at all times.

McBride believes Real Madrid are not in the good run of form, hence, joining them could have a negative impact on his display.

“Real Madrid and Barcelona – who wouldn’t want to have balls played to you from [Lionel] Messi? Whereas, Real Madrid are in a little downward turn,”

“But if you really want to say ‘I’ve brought a club out of mediocrity, that used to be in the prominence’, [Manchester United] would be the place to go.” he concluded.
