Summer signing Christian Pulisic has set a new Premier League record at Chelsea following his three goals against Burnley in their league game earlier this weekend.

Christian Pulisic hit a hattrick to become the youngest player to achieve the feat at Chelsea at the age of 21 years and 38 days.

The American international attacker beat the record of Tammy Abraham who had scored three goals during the 5-2 thrashing of hosts Wolverhampton Wanderers in their Premier League clash last month.

Christian Pulisic made his first Premier League start for Chelsea in two months and the former Borussia Dortmund player took the opportunity with both hands as he scored a perfect treble.

He gave Chelsea the lead with a left-footed strike before adding to that goal via a right-footed strike towards the end of the first half.

His two goals gave Chelsea a 2-0 lead at the halftime interval.

He completed his treble at the start of the second half before Brazilian national team star Willian made it 4-0 for Chelsea.

Burnley hit back with two late goals courtesy Jay Rodriguez and Alex McNeil but it proved to be consolation goals as Chelsea ran out 4-2 winners to make it seven wins in a row in all competitions.
