He was frozen out of the Chelsea team last season under the managerial reign of Italian tactician Maurizio Sarri.
Danny Drinkwater was told by the then Chelsea manager that he’s not part of his plans.
He played just one game for Chelsea throughout last season.
The same thing happened to him when Frank Lampard replaced Maurizio Sarri as the Chelsea manager this summer.
