Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has had his say on the angry reaction from star forward Sadio Mane shortly after he was substituted during the Premier League clash at the home of Burnley on Saturday evening.

Klopp told Sky Sports after the Burnley game that the angry reaction from Sadio Mane was not because of his substitution and that the cause will be addressed in the dressing room.

Sadio Mane was subbed off for Divock Origi towards the end of the game which ended in a comfortable 3-0 win for Liverpool.

The Senegalese international was said to have been infuriated by teammate Mohamed Salah who refused to pass to him when he had a very good chance to score another goal for Liverpool.

That incident happened shortly before his substitution.

Sadio Mane was amongst the goals for Liverpool as the Reds maintained their unblemished start to the new season.

He scored the second goal of the game four minutes after Burnley striker Chris Woods had put through his own net for the opening goal in the first half.

Roberto Firmino added a third goal in the second half to wrap up the points for the Merseysiders.

Liverpool usurped rivals and defending champions Manchester City at the Premier League summit as a result of the win.
