Liverpool legend John Aldridge has advised manager Jurgen Klopp to look inwards into the league for additions, naming Fulham as a club to raid ahead of the winter transfer window which opens in coming months.

Aldridge gave the advice after Liverpool played a 2-0 win against Fulham at the weekend.

The Liverpool hero noted that the Cottagers had lost but they showed lots of positives and most importantly, they have got players of big quality that can fit into the Reds team and make the difference.

He named Aleksandar Mitrovic who almost gave Fulham the lead in the game with a header and Ryan Sessegnon as players who proved they can play on a bigger level.

Aldridge stated that Fulham are currently struggling at the bottom of the Premier League but they have got certain players who do not deserve to be there after what he saw on Sunday.

However, the decision is for Jurgen Klopp to make as he is believed to be storming the January transfer market to add more strength to his team.

Liverpool’s bid to win a title this season goes a long way with the quality of the team they have got and that has been identified by the German manager.
