French side, Lille have finalized a deal with former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka that will have him join the youth coaching team at the club.
Anelka has got a great history and record in the Premier League especially with Arsenal, Chelsea and Bolton where he scored a total of 157 goals in 508 appearances in his 19 years of football in the top flight football.
However, Anelka has not said a final goodbye to football as he has taken steps to begin a career in coaching and he is starting on a gradual note with the youth team.
The 39-year-old has been praised by manager Galtier who expressed delight that the young ones would be impacted by the vast knowledge of the game by the former striker.
According to Galtier, what is most exciting to anticipate of the former striker is impacting the players with some striking expertise which he exhibited in his playing days.
Galtier revealed that Anelka has made it clear that he is not ready to handle bigger players as he looks to begin on a very low note.
Meanwhile, most of those playing at the same level with the former Chelsea man have now become managers with the majority having to handle professionals.
The likes of John Terry, Frank Lampard, Thierry Henry and the likes have all gone into full management career to teach younger ones.
