Liverpool midfielder James Milner kept up his impressive record in the Premier League following his contribution for the Reds in their 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
The Gunners welcomed the Merseysiders to the Emirates Stadium in a Matchweek 11 game which ended in a share of the spoils for both sides.
The 32-year-old was on target for the Reds as he capitalised on a goalkeeping moment of uncertainty from Arsenal shot stopper Bernd Leno.
The 61st minute goal was the difference between the two sides until eight minutes from time when Super Eagles forward and Arsenal substitute Alex Iwobi setup French striker Alexandre Lacazette for the equalising goal.
In the end, Milner’s strike proved to be hugely significant for the Reds who maintained their unbeaten start to the new Premier League season with the result.
Liverpool have now played 11 games without any defeat since the start of this Premier League campaign.
As a matter of fact, the Reds have not lost a Premier League game since April.
James Milner took his tally to 50 Premier League goals with his strike against the Gunners.
The result ensured that the ex-England international midfielder maintained his record of not suffering defeat when he’s on the scoresheet.
His 50 goals for clubs like Leeds United, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Liverpool include a brace.
This means he has scored on 49 occasions in the Premier League without suffering a defeat in any of those games.
