Real Madrid Bag First Champions League Win

Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid have won their first Champions League game of the season, following their slim win at the home of Turkish Super League giants Galatasaray on Matchday Three.
Real Madrid secured a slim 1-0 victory over the Turkish giants in Group A courtesy the strike from German World Cup winner Toni Kroos.
The German international midfielder scored the only goal of the game on 18 minutes off an assist from Eden Hazard.
Real Madrid were not convincing against their Turkish opponents but the result would go a long way to lift some of the pressure on manager Zinedine Zidane who’s in his second spell at the club.

The former Real Madrid midfielder spent over two years in his first spell as manager before he resigned from the post last summer.
He returned to the club at the start of this year as the third manager at Real Madrid last season.
The poor form in the Champions League is been one of the major reasons for the pressure on Zidane.
Real Madrid were beaten 3-0 by French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) away from home in their first Champions League game this season before they played 2-2 at home to Club Brugge FC of Belgium.
