Merseyside giants Liverpool have been backed to end their long drought at the home of Manchester United ahead of their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.

According to media outlet Sportsmole, Liverpool will beat Manchester United 2-0 to record their first win in five games at Old Trafford.

Liverpool have not won away to Manchester United since the 3-0 victory at the end of the 2013/14 season under the managerial era of David Moyes.

Manchester United are in poor form ahead of the Liverpool game with the Red Devils struggling for form in the Premier League.

The Red Devils are in the bottom places on the Premier League table after two wins from the first eight league games this season.

Manchester United have dropped to 14th spot on the Premier League table after recording nine points from the first eight games in the league.

The Red Devils are just one point above the relegation zone after a run of three games without a win dating back to the slim victory over Leicester City at Old Trafford last month.

Since that win over the Foxes, Manchester United have not won a game in any competition.

They are winless in five games in all competitions.
