Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that two key players will miss the crucial meeting with Liverpool in the Premier League.
Liverpool are the early pacesetters in the Premier League and they travel to take on arch rivals Manchester United in a week nine game billed for the Theatre of Dreams this weekend.
Two key Manchester United players have been ruled out of that game according to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
In a chat with Sky Sports, Solskjaer said that Paul Pogba and David De Gea will both miss the Liverpool game at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
French World Cup winner Pogba has been battling with an ankle problem for the majority of this season and that has forced him to miss five of the last seven games for Manchester City.
His last appearance came during the Premier League game at home to Arsenal which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Pogba aggravated the ankle injury during that Arsenal game and he was told to rest for some weeks.
On his part, David De Gea will miss the Liverpool clash as a result of the groin injury that he sustained while on international break.
De Gea got injured during the Euro 2020 qualifier between hosts Sweden and his native Spain on Tuesday night.
