Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been advised to launch a move for unsettled Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale in January.
The Welshman has been facing too many off-field crises since the return of Zinedine Zidane to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and reporters won’t stop linking him with a move out of the Spanish giants.
Manchester United have been the player’s longtime admirer but they have failed to bring him back to Premier League.
Nonetheless, the Red Devils have been told to do everything positive to seal the transfer of the Welshman in January because he will help the team return to winning ways.
According to Andy Dunn in his write-up, the striker will be a ‘box office signing’ for the Red Devils who will score goals and help the team win many matches.
“They have had their fingers scorched before but if Man United want to make some statement of intent then sign Gareth Bale in winter,”
“Welshman can lift teams single-handedly. Ask him. Ask the Real galacticos of 2018, who won the UCL thanks to Gareth’s intervention as a substitute in the final.” he wrote.
As much as Dunn was right about the player’s quality, Bale’s injury concern should be considered by the Old Trafford outfits before launching a big-money bid for his services.
All in all, adding a proven goalscorer like Bale to Solskjaer’s team will definitely take United to the level of greatness they were known for during Sir Alex Ferguson’s days at the helm of affairs.
