Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is not fully fit and that has affected his performances this season.

The legendary Arsenal manager talked about his compatriot while he was doing his punditry job on BeIN Sports.

Arsene Wenger said Pogba has not been fit enough and that his fitness problems have affected his output for Manchester United this season.

Paul Pogba played the entire duration of the first four games in the Premier League this term before he sustained an ankle injury at the end of the fourth game.

He suffered the injury during the away game at Southampton which ended in a 1-1 draw at the St. Mary’s Stadium.

Paul Pogba pulled out of the French national team squad last month because of that injury.

He returned to action for the Red Devils at the end of last month in a Carabao Cup clash at home to League One side Rochdale.

Pogba played the entire duration of that game which Manchester United won on penalties to book their spot in the fourth round of the competition.

The French midfielder went on to play against rivals Arsenal some days later before aggravating the ankle injury during that match played at Old Trafford.
