Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown believes that new signing Daniel James is regretting his summer move to Manchester United following the latest defeat at the hands of Newcastle United.

Martin Keown talked about Manchester United and Daniel James while he was doing his punditry job on BBC Sport.

According to the Arsenal legend, Welsh international Daniel James would be regretting his decision to move to Manchester United in the summer.

Daniel James is the youngest player in the Manchester United starting XI and he has been their best player.

Martin Keown was reacting to another Manchester United defeat in the Premier League.

Daniel James played the entire duration of the game as Manchester United were beaten 1-0 by Newcastle United.

It was their third league defeat since the start of the season.

The 21-year-old is the leading scorer for Manchester United in the Premier League this season after netting three goals alongside striker Marcus Rashford.

He joined Manchester United from English Championship club Swansea City in the summer after the Red Devils splashed around 18 million pounds on his transfer.

Daniel James made his Manchester United debut during the Premier League opener with Chelsea.

He came on as a second half substitute and went on to scored the fourth and final goal in the 4-0 win over Chelsea.
