Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur want to sell one of their best players to Spanish La Liga leaders Real Madrid according to the latest reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has less than a year left on his contract at the club and the North London outfit wants to sell him when the transfer window reopens in January to avoid losing him on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.

As per journalist IndyKaila, Tottenham Hotspur want to sell Christian Eriksen to Real Madrid in January.

Real Madrid were one of the clubs linked with the Danish international playmaker in the summer but nothing came out of those transfer links.

Other major European sides like Manchester United, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid were also linked with the former Ajax Amsterdam player.

Manchester United are desperate to sign new players in January but Christian Eriksen seems to be way down on the list of their midfield targets if recent reports are to be believed.

The top two midfield targets on the transfer shortlist at Manchester United are James Maddison and Declan Rice who play for fellow Premier League clubs Leicester City and West Ham United respectively.
