Premier League giants Manchester United need four to five players to get back to the top of both English and Europeans football according to club legend Ryan Giggs.

The ex-Manchester United winger was speaking about his former club ahead of the Premier League clash with Newcastle United at St. James Park.

Ryan Giggs said that Manchester United will get back to where they belong with seven or eight players as he backed former Red Devils teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the right man for the rebuilding job at Old Trafford.

Manchester United splashed the sum of 145 million pounds on three new players in the summer meaning that they still need four to five new signings according to club legend Ryan Giggs.

The Red Devils signed Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace in the summer as well as Harry Maguire and Daniel James from Leicester City and Swansea City respectively.

Manchester United have not had the best of seasons till date after they picked up just nine points from their seven league games since the new season started.

It is their worst start to a league season for three decades.

They have not made a worse start in the Premier League era.
