Manchester United fans are desperate for the transfer window to open at the start of next year on the back of their poor start to the season.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seen his honeymoon period end and the former club striker is now under serious pressure to deliver results.

Manchester United have made the worst start to a Premier League campaign under his watch with just nine points recorded in the first eight league games this season.

He has not been helped by the lack of quality players especially on the attacking front in addition to the fact that severally first team players are recuperating from various injuries at the moment.

Manchester United have the fourth best defence in the league this season with eight goals conceded in eight goals but the attacking stats is different.

The Red Devils have the 13th best attacking team in the league this season with nine goals scored only in eight games.

Manchester United need to address three areas urgently when the transfer window reopens in two months time.

Those three positions are that of the central striker, forward/winger and central midfielder.

For now, Solskjaer must work to find a better result with the players at his disposal.
