Do you remember the term ‘the choose one?’ In case you’ve forgotten, it was the term used to describe David Moyes during his days as the United manager because he was chosen by Sir Alex Ferguson as his perfect successor.
Just like he did with the former Everton manager some years back, United Legend Alex Ferguson has told the Red Devils hierarchy to sign Aston Villa youngster John McGinn in the winter.
According to the Sun, the legendary manager had earlier told the Old Trafford outfit to move for the player’s services in 2018 but the Glazers reportedly ignored the advice as they wanted a more established striker.

However, the latest rumors now suggest that the Glazers could heed to Fergie’s advice as they believe the youngster has come of age at the Villa Park Stadium.
The report suggested that United will need to cough-out £50m in January if they must convince the newly promoted Premier League side into releasing the striker who has scored three goals in seven Premier League matches this season.
It is very much unlikely to see the Red Devils dispense such a huge fee for a player who hasn’t featured in any top-four club in Europe.
