Manchester United will have to rival fellow Premier League giants Arsenal in their quest to sign Krliay Sovetov striker Aleksandr Sobolev when the transfer window reopens in January.
This is according to the publication from the stables of The Sun which claimed that both Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing Aleksandr Sobolev who’s the joint leading goalscorer in the Russian Premier League this season.

The Russian striker is rated at 15 million pounds and it represents a moderate transfer fee for the interested clubs namely Arsenal and Manchester United.
Arsenal don’t have much need for a striker at the moment with club fans keen for the defense to be sorted out if they are to meet their target of securing a place in the Champions League next season.
The Gunners have conceded 11 goals in just eight league games this season.
Arsenal will only need a new striker if the injury to French international Alexandre Lacazette persists.
Lacazette has been injured for almost a month.
