Juventus star Paolo Dybala has revealed that he had no interest in Premier League giants Manchester United this summer despite the numerous transfer reports which claimed that he was closing in on a move to the Theatre of Dreams.

Dybala made this known in a chat with media outlet Cadena Ser as he said that his preference at the start of this summer’s transfer window was to stay with Italian Serie A champions Juventus.

The Argentine international came close to signing for Manchester United in the summer as revealed by various media outlets.

He was expected to join the Red Devils in a swap deal that will see Belgian national team striker Lukaku move to Juventus in a swap deal.

The transfer involving Dybala and Lukaku fell through and that paved the way for the latter to join Juventus’ rivals Inter Milan.

Romelu Lukaku joined Inter Milan from Manchester United in a deal reported to be worth around 74 million pounds.

On his part, Paolo Dybala stayed at Juventus for this season just like his wish at the start of the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur also tried and failed to sign him.

Manchester United have struggled in attack this season without a proper replacement for Lukaku when someone like Dybala would have been an appropriate replacement for him.
