Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan have concluded plans to increase their offer for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku in their quest to sign him between now and the rest of this summer’s transfer window.

This is according to Corriere Della Serra which revealed that the Italians have upped their bid for Lukaku.

Their last offer for the Belgian international was £54m.

The aforementioned media outlet revealed that Inter Milan are prepared to increase their offer to €70m (£63m) and it remains to be seen whether that would be enough to prise the former Chelsea and Stoke City star away from Old Trafford.

Manchester United are keen to recoup the £75m spent on Lukaku when they signed him from Merseyside giants Everton in the summer of 2017.

Inter Milan are not the only club interested in Romelu Lukaku.

The Nerazzuri have to contend with fierce rivals Juventus who have offered a swap deal to Manchester United.

This swap deal involves Romelu Lukaku and Juventus attacker Paolo Dybala moving in the opposite direction.

Lukaku has already agreed on personal terms with both Inter Milan and Juventus.

The player is keen to leave the Premier League for the Italian Serie A whether its Juventus or Inter Milan.
