Real Madrid Pursuit Of Paul Pogba Depends On One Condition

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been linked with Real Madrid for the better part of this summer’s transfer window but the former English champions are keen to hang on to him beyond this summer.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Real Madrid pursuit of Paul Pogba is dependent on the sale of Gareth Bale.

Real Madrid have signed a lot of players this summer totaling around £300m and they will have to sell the players on their books if they want to sign the likes of Paul Pogba.

The Los Merengues will need over £150m to pull off the transfer of Paul Pogba this summer and they have to sell some of their players to fund it.

Gareth Bale represents one of the best avenues for Real Madrid to raise funds but the Welshman is keen to stay at the club till his contract expires in three years time.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that the Welsh international is not in his future plans at the club.

Bale almost joined Premier League giants Manchester United in 2013 before he signed for Real Madrid in a deal worth £85.3m.

The Welsh international has won four Champions League titles during his time at Real Madrid.
