North London giants Arsenal have reportedly been prised out of a move for Dalian Yifang winger Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco.
This is according to the publication from The Sun which claimed that the Gunners can’t afford the asking price of one of their transfer targets.
It was revealed that Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang are demanding £30m for Carrasco who’s keen to leave Asia for Europe this summer.
The new development is a far cry from recent reports which claimed that the Gunners are closing in on a move for the former AS Monaco and Atletico Madrid player.
In his recent interview, Carrasco confirmed that an offer is on the table from an unnamed European club which many believed is Arsenal.

The Belgian international left Atletico Madrid for China in February 2018 but he’s keen to return to European football after failing to adapt to life in the Asian country.
Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco was linked with Arsenal and the Milan clubs, Inter and AC Milan, during the winter transfer window but his Chinese club was not willing to release him.
The 25-year-old is more determined to leave Dalian Yifang this summer but it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be able to reach an agreement for his transfer.
