Axel Tuanzebe

Former Manchester United loanee Axel Tuanzebe drew the praise of fans shortly after his display during the Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

Axel Tuanzebe returned to Manchester United in the summer after his successful loan spell at Aston Villa last season.

He helped Aston Villa gain promotion to the Premier League via the English Championship playoffs.

The 21-year-old formed a potent centre back partnership with Tyrone Mings at Aston Villa.

Axel Tuanzebe was the best Manchester United player on the pitch as they suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of Newcastle United who started the weekend one place above the bottom on the Premier League table.

In their Premier League clash, Newcastle United secured only their second win of the season via a 1-0 victory at home to the Red Devils.

Matty Longstaff is the younger brother of Sean Longstaff and the two midfielders both came through the ranks at Newcastle United.

Sean Longstaff made his debut for Newcastle United last season and has since established himself as a key player for the Magpies.

His brother made his debut for Newcastle United against Manchester United at the weekend.

Matty Longstaff, 19, scored the only goal of the game for Newcastle United on his debut for his boyhood club.

English Premier League club, Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta is displaying a level of ambition as he is yet linked with another forward to bolster his forward ahead of next season.

The North London outfit are reportedly set to part ways with French striker Alexandre Lacazette and Mikel Arteta will not stop such a move but that will not happen without him getting a replacement.

Ajax forward, Quincy Promes is the man that has been identified by the Spanish manager to make the difference at the Emirates Stadium if the former Lyon striker leaves.

However, the Gunners will have to spend £25 million to be able to capture the signature of Quincy Promes as he is the club will be willing to let him go but for a fee that is not cheaper than that.

Quincy Promes scored 16 goals in the just-concluded season before the coronavirus pandemic halted football activities as well as gave five assists in 28 games.

The Sun reports that Arteta is keen to bring in Quincy Promes with sources close to the player expressing confidence that he is willing and ready to dump Ajax for a move to the Emirates Stadium before the end of this summer transfer window.

Philippe Coutinho

North London outfit Arsenal have been tipped to move in for the signature of Brazilian international, Philippe Coutinho from Spanish La Liga club, Barcelona, this summer transfer window.

The Gunners have been linked with the player who is out-of-favour at the Bernabeu with his future left hanging as German Bundesliga outfit, Bayern Munich are unwilling to give him a permanent stay at the club.

Reports now claim that the North London club are the only solution to Philippe Coutinho as the player has already decided that he does not want to play for the Spanish giants anymore.

Most clubs are refusing to look the direction of Philippe Coutinho because of the wage bill and the same reason why Barcelona are having it tough with him to stay.

Should the North London club propose a loan deal for Philippe Coutinho, it would solve a lot of problems as the wage bill could be shared between the two teams.

However, there are fears that the North Londoners have already rejected the chances of having the former Liverpool player at the Emirates Stadium as they prefer his Brazilian counterpart, Willian from West London club, Chelsea.

Willian is reported to have completed medicals at the Emirates Stadium and a three-year deal is set to be announced by the club.

Arsenal and Man United have failed to capture the signature of Canadian forward, Jonathan David as he has reportedly completed a move to French Ligue 1 outfit, Lille.

Jonathan David is highly rated as he has been consistent in the past two seasons with a total of 48 goals and 20 assists in all, a feat that is amazing for a player at his age.

The 20-year-old forward was seen as a very big prospect by the two Premier League teams and tipped to succeed with English football but they were unable to agree on terms that will give them victory in the chase.

The Gunners and the Red Devils were not alone in the chase of Jonathan David as a list of English Premier League clubs; Leicester City, Leeds United, Brighton, and Crystal Palace were also in the chase.

However, Arsenal are in search of a new forward with reports that that French striker Alexandre Lacazette could be part of the exits at the Emirates Stadium this summer window.

The Gunners team are hoping to cash in from his sale to be able to secure their transfer targets as they are in a battle to compete with other clubs because of funds.

Meanwhile, Man United are also bent on more attacking options ahead of next season.

Dani Ceballos

The North London outfit, Arsenal were hoping to have Dani Ceballos at the Emirates Stadium next season but it is feared that it might not happen with his owners, Real Madrid considering keeping him.

Dani Ceballos spent a season at the Emirates Stadium on a loan deal and the end of it was sweet for him. He actually wanted to stay. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta also shares the same sentiment as he enjoyed the service of the 24-year-old and wanted him as part of his plans for next season.

Already, the Gunners have made their intention known to the Spanish giants but the latest report by Spanish outlet, AS claims that they will be turned down.

The report claims that Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane now feels he can work with Dani Ceballos, adding that the player’s career can come alive again for Los Blancos in the coming season.

The report claims that the decision by Zinedine Zidane is influenced by the need to have a long-term replacement for Luka Modric in the team as Dani Ceballos has been tipped to fill in that role.

From all indication, Mikel Arteta will now face other options to be able to forge ahead in his transfer plans if Dani Ceballos will not be joining Arsenal again.

It is now looking certain that English Premier League club, Man United can secure the signature of Thiago Alcantara this summer transfer window, after indicating interest in his service.

Thiago Alcantara is rated as one of the best centre-midfielders in Europe and has been impressive with the German Bundesliga outfit, Bayern Munich but he is unwilling to commit his future at the club with a new deal.

It is not news that Man United prioritize a England international winger, Jadon Sancho but will be willing to make a centre-midfielder signing to have more options and competition in the team.

However, the Red Devils have been handed a major boost with Bayern Munich chief Kar-Heinz Rummenigge stating that the club will open the door for Thiago Alcantara’s move this summer window should they receive a fair bid.

Meanwhile, Man United are not alone in the chase of Thiago Alcantara this summer transfer window as M.E.N Sport reports that Liverpool, Man City, Paris-Saint Germain, and Juventus are also in the race for his signature.

This makes it a case of the highest bidder as the Bundesliga club will be waiting to cash in on the player to be able to secure a replacement before the end of the summer transfer window.

Alexandre Lacazette

The board of English Premier League side, Arsenal are willing to let go of French striker, Alexandre Lacazette and manager Mikel Arteta is not willing to stop the player’s exit.

This means that the former Lyon striker might not be in the Emirates Stadium next season while a new face could be seen in the Arsenal attack as there will be a replacement for him.

However, The Athletic report hints that Alexandre Lacazette might have found a new club already after claiming that Italian Serie A champions, Juventus are very interested in his service as they seek to bolster their attack ahead of next season.

Alexandre Lacazette’s proposed move from North London is not unknown to him as he is not satisfied with his inconsistent calls for games. He has been in and out of the squad for first-team roles.

With Arsenal seeking to cash in £30 million, commentators agree that a deal will be very possible as Juventus will be willing to meet this valuation by the Gunners.

Juventus have just secured Italian legend, Andrea Pirlo as their new manager and he is set for a major overhaul in the team especially the clearance of several big names.

Gonzalo Higuain is reported to be one of the names, the reason why the coming of Alexandre Lacazette is very possible.

Jadon Sancho

English Premier League club, Man United may decide to dump their long-term chase of England international winger Jadon Sancho from German Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund.

The Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made the former Man City Academy player his primary target for this summer transfer window and is keen to add him to his squad ahead of next season.

Borussia Dortmund are demanding a fee of £100 million which the Red Devils are not willing to meet as they seek a bargain but negotiations have been very slow, leaving the English Premier League club frustrated.

Man United have blamed Borussia Dortmund for involving intermediary, in addition to the agent involved in the deal, stressing that they have made it difficult to make headway.

Former England manager, Sam Allardyce has, therefore, called on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to dump the chase of Jadon Sancho and move on, adding that the Red Devils can look elsewhere.

Although, he noted that the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team is in need of a striker than a winger because of the set-up of his team.

He stressed that the likes of Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, and Daniel James can all play wide roles that stop Jadon Sancho from being a must.

EPL: Man United could hurt Chelsea in Desperation this summer window

Man United have been desperate in their bid to land a winger, especially in their approach to secure the service of England international Jadon Sancho from German Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund.

The Red Devils are yet to have a breakthrough and are already left frustrated in the bid for Jadon Sancho. They have been advised to move on and look for other options.

Because they are desperate for a winger, Man United might dump the chase of the former Man City Academy player and move in for the signature of Chelsea target, Kai Havertz.

The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder has been on the radar of the Blues team for the past weeks but he is yet to seal the move as negotiations are also delaying.

The West London outfit are also stranded in the place of negotiation with the German outfit insisting they want £90 million for the 21-year-old star.

This development leaves the Red Devils with the chance of landing Kai Havertz if they meet with his valuation and this will definitely hurt the West Londoners who are also very keen.

Man United have been given a deadline of August 10 to sign Jadon Sancho but they failed to meet up and that is not even a threat to the deal but the fee and the involvement of agents and intermediary.
