Former Super Eagles assistant coach Fatai Amao has urged the team to move on from the Chelsea duo of Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham after they opted for the Three Lions of England ahead of Nigeria.
The two Chelsea players were invited to the England senior national team setup by manager Gareth Southgate.
They were part of the 25-man England squad unveiled for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Czech Republic on October 11 and October 14 respectively.
Fatai Amao spoke about the two players in an interview with The Nation newspaper.
According to him, the Super Eagles of Nigeria need to forget about the two Chelsea players and move on to other options like Victor Osimhen and Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis.
Club Brugge striker Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis showed his quality this week after he netted a first half brace for his Belgian top flight side during their Champions League meeting with mighty Real Madrid.
His goals helped Club Brugge secure a famous 2-2 draw at the home of Real Madrid who had to come from two goals down to earn a point.
Victor Osimhen also scored in the Champions League this week during the 2-1 loss to Premier League giants Chelsea at home to take his goal tally to seven goals for Lille in all competitions this season.
