North London giants Arsenal are planning a multi-million-pound swoop on in-form Brazilian striker Wesley Moraes ahead of the January transfer market.
Wesley Moraes is on the payroll of Belgian Jupiler League side Club Bruges and he has emerged as a transfer target for many European clubs.
The Daily Mail claims that the Gunners are ready to make a move for him in the upcoming transfer window next month.
The 22-year-old has grown to become a key player for Club Brugge since he joined the Belgians from AS Trencin of Slovakia in January 2016 for just £900,000.
He has scored 10 goals in 22 appearances for Club Brugge this season including seven goals in the Belgian top flight.
Wesley Moraes has been a consistent performer for his side in both league football and the Champions League.
The Brazilian attacker helped his side qualify for the Europa League via the Champions League route.
Apart from Arsenal, Italian side Fiorentina and Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia are also interested in signing the player.
The Gunners see Wesley Moraes as a possible replacement for the injured Danny Welbeck and a fee of around £15m would be enough for Club Brugge to sanction his move to Arsenal in the New Year.
