Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen is reportedly the subject of renewed interest from Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window.

This is according to the publication from the stables of the UK Metro which claimed that Manchester want to revive their interest in the Danish international.

Christian Eriksen was linked with Manchester United during the summer’s transfer window but the move didn’t materialize despite the fact that he had one year left on his Tottenham Hotspur contract.

The Danish playmaker was also linked with other European sides like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.

That one year contract will reduce to just six months in the New Year thus making it easier for clubs to sign him.

Christian Eriksen could start to speak with foreign clubs about a possible free transfer deal as soon as January 2020.

He’s almost certain to leave Spurs on a free transfer next summer unless something miraculous happens in form of him putting pen to paper on a new contract with the North London club.

Christian Eriksen has been at Tottenham Hotspur since his transfer in 2013 when he was signed as one of the replacements for former talisman Gareth Bale who left the club to join Real Madrid that summer.
