North London giants Arsenal have released the latest injury update ahead of the upcoming Europa League meeting with Standard Liege FC of Belgium.
Arsenal host Standard Liege in their second group game in this year’s Europa League and manager Unai Emery has an almost fully fit squad to choose from as per the statement on the health status of the players.
The injury update on the Arsenal players was released on Wednesday afternoon.
Unai Emery has a fully fit squad to pick from ahead of the Standard Liege game at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night except for the attacking duo of Alexandre Lacazette and Emile Smith-Rowe.
French international Lacazette struggled with an ankle injury at the start of the season after picking it up during the preseason game (Emirates Cup) with former club Lyon.
He scored two goals in just three league games before succumbing to the recurrence of the said ankle injury during the Premier League game at home to North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur last month.
Lacazette is expected to return to training in the next two weeks.
Young English player Smith-Rowe is being monitored after his head injury during the Carabao Cup game at home to Nottingham Forest last week.
