EPL: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Provides Injury Update vs Arsenal

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an injury update on his team ahead of the Premier League clash at home to Arsenal on Monday night.

Solskjaer spoke to MUTV about his team ahead of the Arsenal game.

According to him, star player Paul Pogba is a big doubt for the Premier League clash with the Gunners.

Paul Pogba returned to action in midweek during the Carabao Cup clash at home to League One opposition Rochdale.

The French World Cup winner played the entire duration of the game as Manchester United beat Rochdale on penalties in their third round clash.

Manchester United will travel to face Chelsea in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup as a result of the penalty shootout win over Rochdale.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said Pogba had a swollen ankle after the Rochdale game and that he’s a doubt for the Arsenal encounter on Monday night.

The Manchester United boss also said that centre back Phil Jones suffered an injury during the game against Rochdale and that the England international won’t be back with the squad until after the international break next month.

Solskjaer also said that Luke Shaw is recovering from injury well and he could be a part of the game against the Gunners on Monday.
