Manchester United have been handed big injury news after it was revealed that striker Marcus Rashford is fit to start for tomorrow’s Premier League clash at home to Southampton.
Interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed the player’s fitness during his pre-match press conference on Friday morning ahead of the league game against the Saints who are just two points above the relegation zone.
Manchester United host Southampton at Old Trafford with the Red Devils looking to boost their top four credentials with a win.
Solskjaer would be hoping that Marcus Rashford will play a starring role against the Saints as some form of dress rehearsal ahead of crucial Champions League last 16 second leg clash with French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) on Wednesday.
Manchester United trail 2-0 to PSG from the first leg and they would be without star player Paul Pogba who was sent off for two yellow cards in the first leg.
The game is scheduled to take place at the Parc des Princes.
Marcus Rashford suffered a slight ankle injury during Sunday’s league clash at home to leaders Liverpool and that restricted him to an appearance from the bench for the final fifteen minutes of the Crystal Palace game.
