Sheffield United goalkeeper Dean Henderson was responsible for the only goal of the game as his team succumbed to a slim defeat to Liverpool in their Premier League clash on Saturday.

The Blades gave a good account of themselves against the league leaders despite the fact that it was their first season back in the big league after an absence spanning over a decade.

Liverpool beat Sheffield United 1-0 to maintain their unblemished record at the start of this Premier League season.

The game was decided with twenty minutes left on the clock after Dean Henderson allowed the shot from Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum to slip through his hands and into the back of the net.

It was cruel on Dean Henderson who has been solid for Sheffield United since he returned to the club on loan this summer.

He was a key member of the team that gained promotion into the Premier League after finishing second in the English Championship table last season behind champions Norwich City.

Dean Henderson was on loan with the Blades last season and the temporary deal was extended this summer after his solid displays for the Yorkshire club in the English Championship last season.

Liverpool profitted from his error to maintain their perfect start to the season.
