Jurgen Klopp is certain that Steven Gerrard has the qualities to take charge of Liverpool when he leaves the club in the future.
The Liverpool manager drummed up support for the club’s former skipper in a chat with FourFourTwo.
Klopp is certain that Steven Gerrard will do a good job as the Liverpool manager if he replaces him in the nearest future.
Gerrard was given the role of the Liverpool youth coach almost immediately after his retirement before he left the club for Scotland.
The ex-Liverpool captain has done a good job as the Rangers manager since his appointment at the start of last season.

He led Rangers to second spot on the Scottish Premiership table at the end of last season.
Liverpool will have to replace manager Jurgen Klopp at the end of his contract in 2022 after the German tactician indicated that he won’t be signing a new deal at the end of his current contract.
Klopp was handed a new six-year contract back in 2016 and that will expire in three years time.
He led Liverpool to the Champions League title last season after the Reds beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the final with goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi.
