Spanish striker Fernando Llorente has signed for Italian Serie A giants Napoli on deadline day.
Fernando Llorente was a free agent before Napoli decided to sign him to a two-year deal until the end of the 2020/21 season.
His signing was confirmed by Napoli on Monday morning.
The 34-year-old became a free agent after he was released by Spurs at the end of his contract with the North London club.
He spent two years with Tottenham Hotspur and scored 13 goals in 66 games for the North London outfit.
The Spaniard was linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United before his transfer to Napoli was confirmed.
Manchester United have been short of attackers this season following the exits of both Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku to Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan this summer.
Many Manchester United fans thought the Red Devils would sign Llorente as a free agent.
Inter Milan have taken two players off Manchester United including Chilean international Alexis Sanchez who has joined the Nerazzuri on loan for the rest of this season without the option of a permanent transfer at the end of the loan contract.
Romelu Lukaku joined Inter Milan in a £74m deal from Manchester United earlier this summer.
