Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar Jr. could still move to Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona according to his agent and father Neymar Sr.
He made this known at a Sports conference in Edinburgh.
According to him, Negotiations for his client are still ongoing.
Neymar Sr. said the desire of his son is to return to Barcelona.
The player has three years left on his contract with PSG having joined them from Spanish champions Barcelona in the summer of 2017.
The Brazilian national team talisman became the most expensive player ever as a result of the transfer from Barcelona to PSG.
He left Barcelona in a controversial way after PSG paid the €220m release clause in his then contract at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona tried to re-sign him before the European transfer window ended last week but they were unable to come up with the funds needed for the transfer.
Neymar has not played for PSG this season as he recovers from the ankle injury sustained during an international friendly between Brazil and Panama in July.
He missed the 2019 COPA America triumph by the Brazilian national team as a result of that injury.
The player made a goalscoring return for Brazil during the 2-2 draw with Colombia last week.

Ansu Fati broke into the Barcelona first team last season and he went on to score eight goals in all competitions for the La Liga outfit.
The player was gradually introduced into first team football but that has changed at the start of the current campaign after he was unleashed on Villarreal in the first league game of the season for Barcelona.
Ansu Fati scored twice to lead Barcelona to a 4-0 win at home to the Yellow Submarines.
