Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has come to the defence of club manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the Red Devils made a disappointing start to the new Premier League season.

Rio Ferdinand was a former teammate of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United and he stood up for the Norwegian tactician while some fans chanted ‘Ole Out’ during the filming of a YouTube Interview for ‘The United Stand’.

Rio Ferdinand wants the Manchester United fans to give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer some time to turn things around.

Manchester United fans were left disappointed after the Red Devils were beaten for the second time in just six Premier League games at the start of this season.

West Ham beat Manchester United 2-0 at home in their week six clash at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Hammers broke the deadlock through Ukrainian international winger Andriy Yarmolenko just before the halftime interval.

West Ham wrapped up the win over Manchester United courtesy the second half freekick from defender Aaron Cresswell.

Manchester United have won two games, drawn two games and lost two games from the six Premier League matches played this season.

The Hammers are in the top five as a result of that win over the Red Devils.
