Barcelona striker Luis Suarez made a scoring return during the Spanish La Liga clash with Valencia on Saturday night.

The former Liverpool star was on target twice as Barcelona thrashed Valencia 5-2 at home to record their second win of the new Spanish La Liga campaign.

The Barcelona versus Valencia clash was one of the week four league games played on Saturday.

Luis Suarez came on as a second-half substitute before he went on to score twice as Barcelona edged Valencia in a seven-goal salvo.

The Uruguayan international made his return to the first team after recovering from the injury that he sustained during the opening match of the new Spanish La Liga season.

Luis Suarez sustained an injury in the first half of the opening game of this campaign at Athletic Bilbao.

Without Suarez, Athletic Bilbao beat Barcelona 1-0 courtesy the second-half strike from substitute Aritz Aduriz.

His comeback to the Barcelona squad against Valencia was overshadowed by young forward Ansa Fati.

The young Barcelona player scored the first goal of the game before providing an assist for Frenkie De Jong who scored the second goal for the Spanish champions.

Ansa Fati has made a fantastic start to his Barcelona career despite the fact that he is only 16.
