Liverpool defender Trent Alexandre-Arnold has narrated how manager Jurgen Klopp inspired the team to victory in their Premier League clash with Arsenal.

The Reds hosted Arsenal in a top-of-the-table clash and it ended in a 3-1 win for Liverpool.

In his latest interview, England international right-back Trent Alexandre-Arnold talked about the halftime changes made by Klopp and how it helped to propel the team to victory over the Gunners.

Liverpool were frustrated by Arsenal’s defence for the majority of the first half before they made the breakthrough in the 41st minute through Cameroonian international center-back Joel Matip.

Trent Alexandre-Arnold’s corner kick was powered in by the aforementioned Matip via his head.

Liverpool led 1-0 at the halftime interval and according to the Trent Alexandre-Arnold, Klopp made some changes to the tactics adopted by his team to propel the Reds to victory.

Klopp asked his places to stretch the Arsenal defence with the help of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

The change in tactics paid dividends for Liverpool in the second half after they scored two goals to edge Arsenal 3-0 ahead.

Mohamed Salah scored the two goals for Liverpool before Arsenal netted a consolation goal in the final minutes of the game through substitute Lucas Torreira.
