Paris Saint Germain (PSG) manager Thomas Tuchel has ruled out a move for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann this summer.
French player Griezmann will leave Atletico Madrid this summer and PSG have been mentioned as a possible destination for him.
He’s unlikely to join PSG following the admission from the aforementioned Tuchel that the French giants are not in the running for Antoine Griezmann.
Thomas Tuchel was speaking during his pre-match press conference ahead of the league game with Dijon at the Parc des Princes on Saturday evening.
According to him, Antoine Griezmann does not fit the model of the club.
The French World Cup winner has been linked with several clubs since he announced his imminent exit from Atletico Madrid this summer.
Major European sides like Manchester City and PSG have ruled themselves out of the race to sign him leaving others like Manchester United and Barcelona.
A lack of Champions League football is almost certain to rule Manchester United out of the race thus leaving Spanish champions Barcelona as clear favourites to sign him.
Antoine Griezmann has a release clause of £108m in his current contract with the Rojiblancos and his last game for the club will be against Levante in a Spanish La Liga clash on Saturday afternoon.
