Liverpool Secure Record After Shock Man City Defeat

Premier League leaders Liverpool are the last team to maintain an unbeaten run this season after the shocking defeat handed to defending champions Manchester City by newly promoted outfit Norwich City.
Manchester City were surprisingly beaten 3-2 by their hosts Norwich City who punished the Premier League champions for some slack defending especially from the likes of Kyle Walker, Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones.
It was the first defeat suffered by Manchester City since a 2-1 reverse at the hands of Newcastle United in January.
Ahead of this weekend’s set of games in the Premier League, there were three teams unbeaten but that has reduced to just a solitary team (Liverpool) after the defeats to both Manchester City and Leicester City.

Manchester United had earlier ended the unbeaten start of Leicester City at Old Trafford following the narrow 1-0 victory.
England international Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game from the spot after he was brought down by Turkish defender Caglar Soyuncu in the Leicester City box.
The Manchester United vs Leicester City game preceded the Norwich City versus Manchester City game.
Liverpool are the early pacesetters in the Premier League this season after winning all their five games to open a five-point lead at the summit.
