Barcelona players were reportedly willing to fund the return of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar to the club.
This is according to the publication from Spanish news outlet Sport.
It was revealed that Barcelona players wanted Neymar to return to the club and that they were willing to fund his move back to the Nou Camp before the European transfer window ended last week.
Barcelona were not successful in their bid to re-sign Neymar this summer after PSG slammed a big piece tag on the Brazilian national team forward.
The Spanish champions made one offer for Neymar on August 27 as revealed by PSG sporting director Leonardo and it was turned down by the French capital club.

Neymar wanted to return to the Nou Camp this summer but he didn’t get his wish.
He is in his third season as a PSG player following his world-record move from Barcelona in 2017.
Barcelona were paid €220m for the transfer two years ago.
Neymar scored 105 goals for Barcelona in 186 appearances in addition to winning the 2015 Champions League title via the 3-1 win over Italian Serie A champions Juventus.
The 27-year-old also won two Spanish La Liga titles during his time at the Nou Camp.
