Latest reports indicate that English Premier League defending champions Man City have made an initial approach for France international and Chelsea star N’Golo Kante ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
This is the quietest season for the former Premier League title winner and it has been attributed to manager Maurizio Sarri for taking him away from his natural role to favour Jorginho.
It is claimed that N’Golo Kante is unhappy at the Stamford Bridge and will move away should he land a good offer because of his will to return to his natural defending role.
The report therefore states that Man City are already in the market for the search of a long-term replacement of Fernandinho who will be 34 next month and might be seeing his peak.
There is, therefore, no doubt about N’Golo Kante’s quality as it has been proven at Leicester City when he helped with the title win while he was fantastic before the coming of the Italian manager as well as with the France national team.
Goal.com claims that Man City have been monitoring the situation with N’Golo Kante at the West London outfit and will act fast to land him ahead of the coming season.
