Chelsea Midfielder Ruled Out Of Action For 2 Weeks

Burnley midfielder Danny Drinkwater will miss the next two weeks after suffering ankle ligaments injury earlier this month.
Danny Drinkwater is on loan at Burnley from Chelsea for this season.
The 29-year-old England international midfielder joined the Clarets on loan from Chelsea on deadline day of the Premier League transfer window.
His injury status was confirmed by Burnley boss Sean Dyche during his pre-match press conference on Thursday morning ahead of the weekend’s Premier League clash at the home of Brighton and Hove Albion.
Sean Dyche defended the player over the way he got the ankle ligaments injury as he said that the former Manchester United and Leicester City player has the support of Burnley.

Danny Drinkwater was involved in a nightclub altercation earlier this month which resulted in the injury.
He was a Manchester nightclub during the international break.
Danny Drinkwater is trying to revive his career at Burnley after a disappointing two years at Chelsea.
He hardly played for Chelsea especially in the second year under Maurizio Sarri following his move from Leicester City in a £35m deal in the summer of 2017.
Danny Drinkwater was completely frozen out of the Chelsea team under Maurizio Sarri in the last campaign.
